Job summary

Bennett Motor Express Management Inc. in McDonough, GA is seeking a full-time salaried Recruiter to support driver hiring by partnering with marketing materials, reviewing applications, coordinating with the safety department, and reporting weekly activities.

You will use established recruiting channels, participate in field recruiting events, maintain candidate communications, and deliver weekly reports to leadership. A bonus opportunity is included.

Qualifications

• Full time salaried position with bonus opportunity.
• Schedule includes Monday through Friday plus varying weekend coverage.
• Requires telecommunication/computers and knowledge-based background of the transportation industry.
• Previous experience recruiting Drivers is a must.
• Experience with equipment types is a plus.
• Working knowledge of computers, fax, and phones.

• Review submitted applications to confirm candidates meet current hiring requirements.
• Coordinate with the safety department to process applications for approval and orientation dates.
• Maintain follow-up communication with contacts and applicants to support recruiting and accurate representation.
• Utilize recruiting channels including web-based sites, applications, mail-out material, databases, and calls.
• Participate in field recruiting events such as truck shows and hiring events.
• Develop and maintain a database of contacts and applicants for presentation.
• Provide a weekly activities report to the Director.

McDonough, GA (onsite) opportunity for a full time salaried Recruiter with a bonus opportunity. In this role, you will support driver hiring by partnering with marketing materials, application review, and coordination with the safety department, while managing recruiting communications and reporting on weekly activities.

Responsibilities

• Use established marketing material to recruit Class A and Class B commercial motor vehicle operators to BENNETT MOTOR EXPRESS MANAGEMENT INC.
• Review submitted applications to confirm candidates meet the company’s current established hiring requirements.
• Coordinate with the safety department to process applications so an approved application can be obtained and an orientation class date can be set for the candidate.
• Maintain ongoing follow‑up communication with contacts and applicants to support recruiting and ensure accurate representation and understanding.
• Utilize established recruiting channels, including web‑based online sites, online applications, mail‑out marketing material, internal database information, inbound calls to the recruiting department, and cold calling.
• Participate in field recruiting events as established by the VP, including truck shows, hiring events, and special needs events.
• Develop and maintain a database of contacts and applicants that can be presented upon request.
• Provide a weekly activities report to the Director.
