Bennett Family of Companies in McDonough, GA is seeking a Vice President of Recruiting to build and run a high-performing recruiting team. You will oversee strategy, cost and time-to-hire, and ensure every recruiting dollar—from advertising to truck show investments—produces qualified hires.

The role reports to Charles Phillips and leads 5–10 recruiters across multiple business units, with travel to industry events and shows as required.

Formación

• 10+ years of recruiting experience in trucking or transportation sectors.
• Proven experience leading a recruiting team of 5–10 recruiters.
• Track record of achieving hiring goals while reducing cost per hire and time to hire.
• Experience planning ad placement and lead-generation across multiple channels.
• Experience managing recruiting budgets and measuring return on spend (truck show investments).
• Working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT driver qualification requirements.
• Strong data and reporting skills; ability to present weekly metrics to leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 5–10 recruiters with clear goals and performance standards.
• Hire, onboard and train recruiters on Bennett processes and compliance.
• Balance workloads to meet hiring demand across business units.
• Deliver weekly recruiting updates to leadership for each business unit.
• Report cost per hire, time to hire, lead volume, applications, conversions, and hires vs. goal.
• Track source of hire to optimize channels for qualified hires.
• Partner with Safety, Operations and HR on retention and trends.
• Develop and manage ad placement strategy across digital, print, job boards, social media and radio.
• Identify new lead sources, referral programs, partnerships, and opportunities to grow pipelines.
• Manage recruiting budgets and vendor relationships; negotiate rates where possible.
• Test, measure and adjust campaigns to lower cost per hire.
