Job summary

Poppy Bank is seeking a VP, BDO of Treasury Management to drive high-quality lead generation and client dialogue focused on business deposits of 10MM to 100MM. You will work with the SVP and Head of Branch Banking, collaborating with Treasury Services to onboard clients efficiently.

You will cultivate relationships in the local market, engaging both in person and remotely, while ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5 years or more of related work experience.
• Extensive B2B sales experience with small to medium-size firms.
• Strong working knowledge in Cash Management products and services.
• Effective problem solving, critical and strategic thinking skills, and attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage workload.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engages in the local market, both remotely and in person to build productive relationships that support commercial deposits growth.
• Develop relationships with qualified prospects and formulate a strategic approach to win new commercial deposits of 10MM to 100MM.
• Align with partners to deepen existing relationships and maximize deposit balances.
• Assist with relationship analysis and client proposals, and streamline onboarding with Treasury Management.
• Maintain thorough records of activities to ensure fluid communication across touch points.
• Stay proactive and tenacious in pursuing opportunities; operate in both remote and in-person settings.
• Provide updates on TM product strengths to stakeholders via meetings and emails.
