Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners, a premier investment bank, seeks an experienced Vice President to join the Transportation & Logistics Group in Richmond, VA. You will lead M&A advisory across the deal lifecycle, coordinating with analysts and associates to ensure high-quality valuation analyses and financial models.

From day one, you’ll have substantial autonomy, drive new business development, and manage senior client relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry-relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial analyses and valuation methodologies.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must obtain FINRA licensing (SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A advisory activities across the transportation and logistics sector throughout all phases of the deal lifecycle
• Serve as a senior leader on transaction teams, overseeing the integrity of valuation analyses and financial models developed with Analysts and Associates
• Actively lead drafting sessions, due diligence meetings, and conversations with clients and counterparties
• Manage client communications and relationships in partnership with senior bankers
• Identify data trends and articulate their impact to internal and external stakeholders
