Immunic Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director/VP of Translational Medicine and Pharmacology to lead translational strategy across its immunology portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will advance biomarker strategies, MOA characterization, and translational pharmacology for the Phase 3 vidofludimus calcium program in multiple sclerosis.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD required with 12+ years in translational medicine or related fields.
• Experience in neurology/immunology and autoimmune disease, MS preferred.
• Proven biomarker-driven clinical development and regulatory submission experience.
• Strong PK/PD, exposure–response, and data package understanding.

Responsabilités

• Lead translational medicine and pharmacology strategy across Immunic's pipeline, focusing on relapsing and progressive MS.
• Design and oversee biomarker strategies including PD, efficacy, safety, and patient stratification.
• Translate preclinical pharmacology data into clinical dosing rationale and study design.
• Serve as scientific lead for mechanism of action, PK/PD modeling, and exposure–response analyses.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to develop translational sections of IND/CTA submissions and regulatory packages.
• Support health authority meetings (FDA/EMA) with rigorous scientific and strategic input.
• Partner with Discovery to guide early-stage assets based on translational rationale.
• Drive translational publications and conference presentations with Medical Affairs.
• Build relationships with MS experts and translational researchers.
• Contribute to business development by evaluating in-licensing opportunities.
• Help build and mentor a high-performing translational medicine function.
