Job summary

Immunic Inc. seeks a Senior Director/VP of Translational Medicine and Pharmacology to lead translational strategy across its immunology pipeline, with initial emphasis on the Phase 3 vidofludimus calcium program in MS.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD with a track record in translational medicine and clinical pharmacology.
• 12+ years in pharma/biotech translational roles.
• Proven biomarker-driven clinical development experience.
• Deep PK/PD modeling understanding and exposure–response analysis.
• Experience leading or supporting health authority interactions (FDA/EMA).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication in matrixed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational medicine and pharmacology strategy across Immunic's pipeline, starting with the Phase 3 vidofludimus calcium program for MS.
• Design and oversee biomarker strategies integrated into clinical trial protocols.
• Translate preclinical data into clinical dosing rationale and study design with partners.
• Serve as scientific lead for mechanism of action, PK/PD modeling, and exposure–response analyses.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to prepare translational sections of IND/CTA submissions and briefing documents.
• Support and present at health authority meetings with scientific rigor and clarity.
• Guide early-stage asset selection with translational rationale and MOA insights.
• Develop translational publications and conference presentations with Medical Affairs.
