Job summary

Immunic Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director/VP of Translational Medicine and Pharmacology to lead translational strategy across our immunology pipeline. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will shape biomarker programs, mechanism of action, and pharmacology for the Phase 3 vidofludimus calcium program in MS and contribute to earlier assets.

Qualifications

MD/PhD with 12+ years in translational medicine or clinical pharmacology.
Proven biomarker-driven clinical development in neurology/immunology.
Experience with regulatory interactions (FDA/EMA) and IND/CTA processes.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead translational medicine and pharmacology strategy across Immunic's pipeline.
Design and oversee biomarker strategies and dose rationale in trials.
Partner with Clinical Development and Biostatistics to translate preclinical data into clinical design.
Serve as scientific lead for MOA, PK/PD modeling, and exposure–response analyses.
Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs on submissions and regulatory documentation.
Present at health authority meetings with scientific rigor and clarity.
Guide discovery teams on early assets based on translational rationale.
Drive translational publications and conference presentations.
Build relationships with MS experts and translational researchers.
Contribute to business development and due diligence efforts.
Mentor and grow the translational medicine function.
