Job summary

State Street Corporation urgently seeks a Head of Technology Governance and Program Management to uplift independent governance of risk, regulatory programmes, and remediation. The role requires expert program management, governance execution, and accountability across large multi-jurisdiction initiatives.

The position reports to CIO International, with a focus on transparent reporting to committees and regulators. Primarily in-office with some flex work, based in Boston, MA, or London.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in financial services, including executive leadership.
• Experience managing complex transformation/remediation programs in a regulated setting.
• Strong regulatory risk and governance experience across global banks.
• Proven record of leading cross-border teams and large third parties.
• Education in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent program execution for technology regulatory and risk transformation initiatives.
• Manage interdependencies and critical path items to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with CIO leadership and regulatory functions for escalation and alignment.
• Provide reporting to organizational committees, regulators and boards as required.
• Oversee remediation plans, manage resources and ensure program continuity.
