You will oversee capital planning, budgeting, IT enhancements, and staff leadership, reporting to the COO. A proven track record in hospital operations and strategic healthcare leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• MBA, MHA or healthcare management degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively advanced financial and administrative management experience with 5–7 years in hospital operations at director level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and objectives for surgical services with OR Exec and Surgeon‑in‑Chief.
• Implement long‑range goals and aligned business plans.
• Lead strategic initiatives, drive performance, and optimize volume and year‑over‑year performance.
• Maintain healthy, collaborative relationships among faculty and staff.
• Communicate with hospital and physician leaders regularly.
• Stay current on healthcare trends affecting planning and decision support.
• Support harmonious, safe, high‑quality care and efficient asset use.
• Manage OR block review and allocation with the OR Exec committee.
• Identify, prioritize, implement, and monitor IT system enhancements.
• Oversee capital planning and space allocation for surgical assets.
• Develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with departments.
