Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Medical Group seeks a Vice President, Administration & Operations to lead the operational, financial, strategic, and administrative performance across the Medical Group. You will guide service line strategy, workforce planning, governance, and enterprise initiatives to improve patient access and overall performance.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA), or a related field.

Responsibilities

Provides executive oversight of Medical Group operations, ambulatory practice operations, patient access initiatives, operational effectiveness, and service line performance.
Leads administrative governance structures and workforce planning to support organizational needs.
Oversees budgets, financial forecasting, revenue and expense management, and business planning activities.
Partners with physicians, department chairs and enterprise leaders to advance strategic priorities and growth.
Ensures compliance with standards and regulations across administrative and hospital operations.
