Baylor Genetics seeks a strategic executive to lead end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and analytics for a fast-growing genetics laboratory. You will drive Lean initiatives, optimize logistics, and build an enterprise-wide operations analytics function to enable data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Operations and/or Operations Excellence.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Exec Dir/VP or above).
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple operational functions and building high-performing teams.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply-chain optimization.
• Demonstrated success leading Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with experience using data to drive operational decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, costs, working capital, and business cases.
• Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and executive leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the end-to-end supply chain supporting Baylor Genetics.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with growth, testing volumes, and customer requirements.
• Lead demand planning, inventory management, materials planning, replenishment, forecasting, and supply availability.
• Establish inventory strategies, safety-stock levels, reorder points, and service-level targets.
• Ensure continuity of supply for reagents, consumables, collection materials, packaging, and other needs.
• Develop supply-chain risk management strategies including dual sourcing and supplier resilience.
• Optimize working capital while maintaining service levels and resiliency.
• Establish meaningful supply-chain KPIs and performance-management routines.
• Lead strategic procurement activities across laboratory, operations, technology, and indirect spend.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements, pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Develop supplier-performance management processes and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Quality, Laboratory Operations, R&D, and others on major sourcing initiatives.
• Establish controls and governance for purchasing and supplier management.
• Lead logistics strategy, inbound/outbound performance, and courier optimization.
• Develop scalable logistics capabilities to support growth and geographic expansion.
• Build a Lean culture with continuous-improvement across operations.
• Lead Operations Analytics and BI efforts translating data into actionable insights.
