Job summary

Baylor Genetics is seeking a Director to own the definition, launch and growth of Biopharma and population genomics offerings, including data insights that drive whole genome sequencing adoption.

The role builds programs with health systems, academic centers and drug developers, determining what is offered, how it is reported and priced, and how it is delivered. Success is measured by launched programs and commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences, engineering, computer science or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of product or program management experience including 5+ years in genomic or diagnostic offerings for biopharma or population health buyers.
• Experience contracting or partnering with pharmaceutical sponsors, health systems or public health programs.
• Working knowledge of clinical genomic testing, reporting practice and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for biopharma and population genomics offerings.
• Develop offerings for biopharma sponsors including sponsored testing and trials support.
• Define population screening offerings for health systems and state programs, including reportable content.
• Own end‑to‑end product definition: clinical positioning, pricing, delivery workflow and turnaround commitments.
• Conduct market and customer discovery with sponsors and health systems and translate findings into product requirements.
• Partner with Business Development, Medical Affairs and Laboratory Operations for go‑to‑market execution and feasibility.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure deliverability and data use terms in partner agreements.
• Transition mature offerings to core catalog tests ordered by clinicians.
• Perform other duties to support team and organizational objectives.
• Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
