Job summary

The Vice President, Supply Chain, Operations Excellence, & Analytics at Baylor Genetics leads end-to-end supply chain, logistics, kitting, and analytics to drive Lean transformation and data-driven decision making across Operations.

This executive role requires strategic vision, deep operations experience in a regulated laboratory setting, and a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering measurable improvements in cost, service, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Operations and/or Operations Excellence.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Exec Dir/VP or above).
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply-chain optimization.
• Demonstrated success leading Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for end-to-end supply chain for Baylor Genetics.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with growth, volumes, quality, and finances.
• Lead demand planning, inventory management, materials planning, replenishment, and forecasting.
• Establish inventory strategies, safety stock, reorder points, and service-level targets.
• Ensure continuity of supply for reagents, consumables, kits, and materials.
• Drive Lean continuous improvement and operational-excellence programs across the organization.
• Build an Operations Analytics function with dashboards and performance management.
