Job summary

The VP, Subrogation Recovery Unit Manager at Chubb European Group Ltd. will lead the subrogation recovery function across property, auto, and workers' compensation claims, coordinating with external vendors, internal recovery teams, and legal and claims functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee external subrogation vendors and internal recovery team for property, auto, and workers' comp.
• Lead and develop the internal management and claims team supervising outside vendors.
• Drive financial accountability: monitor KPIs, budgets, and settlement outcomes with vendors.
• Exercise closing and settlement authority on high-value, complex claims per standards to maximize recovery.
• Liaise with senior leadership, deliver updates, and provide strategic recommendations and reports.
• Collaborate with underwriting to share recovery insights, trends, and pricing impact.
• Interface with claims’ property and auto teams to coordinate recovery strategies.
• Maintain strong subrogation practices, leveraging best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Develop strategies to improve recovery rates, vendor performance, and process efficiency.
• Oversee Investigation Vendor for internal/external claims, including service expectations.
