Job summary

Ayres Associates seeks a Vice President of Structural Services to lead structural design for buildings and transportation structures nationwide, including bridge inspection services. This leadership role drives strategic direction, financial performance, and project delivery across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in structural leadership, proven business development skills, and is PE licensed or CBI certified. Travel to Ayres offices and client events is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent experience.
• PE license or CBI certification required.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in structural services, leadership, and consulting.
• Strong financial acumen and project financial management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for Ayres' structural practice.
• Oversee structural design for buildings and transportation structures across locations.
• Lead a diverse team of structural professionals and drive business growth.
• Develop budgets, monitor performance metrics, and manage resource planning.
• Represent Ayres at industry events to strengthen brand and market presence.
