Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking a senior strategy and corporate development leader to own the five-year plan, the strategic case for acquisitions, and the operating cadence that converts strategy into results.

You will report to the CDSO and work closely with the CEO, leading a PMO of four and coordinating cross-functional work with a strong execution focus. This role requires building models, challenging assumptions, and presenting to the Board.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in top-tier strategy consulting or 5–10 years in related roles including at least two years at a leading strategy firm.
• Ability to build models and identify key drivers that move the answer.
• Capable of framing complex issues succinctly, making actionable recommendations.
• Proven track record of influencing senior leaders and driving cross-functional action.
• Experience preparing materials for and presenting to Boards of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Five-year strategy: maintain as a living plan and refresh with inputs from finance, commercial, and operating units.
• M&A strategy: define targets, build the value thesis, size markets, set screening criteria.
• Physical footprint strategy: shape presence in retail, warehousing, and new service formats.
• PMO: lead the four-person team, manage milestones, dependencies, and measures of success.
• Planning and performance cadence: drive KPI reporting and quarterly/annual reviews.
