Job summary

RB Global is seeking a senior strategist to own the long-term plan that underpins a multi-year growth initiative. You will work for the CDSO and closely support the CEO, conducting analyses, writing materials, and leading a PMO team of four to drive cross-functional work with influence rather than authority.

You will stay close to execution to validate commitments, and you’ll have the opportunity to reshape the team as needed to maximize leverage and impact.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or 5–10 years of experience, including at least two years at a leading strategy consulting firm.
• Ability to build and manipulate the model and identify driving assumptions.
• Ability to frame complex issues succinctly and provide direct recommendations.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and moving other functions without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refresh a five-year plan with inputs from finance, commercial, and operating units.
• Define and validate the M&A strategy, size markets, and set screening criteria for the pipeline.
• Shape the physical footprint strategy including retail locations, storage, and warehousing initiatives.
• Lead the PMO to track initiatives, milestones, dependencies, and success measures.
