Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent graduate degree required.
• At least five years post‑MBA experience, including management consulting at engagement manager or case team leader level.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise or corporate strategy for a large, complex organization.
• Direct experience leading or supporting mergers, acquisitions, or corporate development from thesis through diligence and integration.
• Experience leading and developing teams or readiness to move to leading a permanent organization.
• Strong analytical, business, and financial acumen, including financial modeling, valuation, and capital allocation.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to the executive team and board of directors.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and lead cross‑functional initiatives.
• Team‑player mindset and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and executive leadership to develop, refine, and evolve enterprise strategy.
• Conduct environmental scanning, competitive analysis, and market intelligence to identify opportunities and risks.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and investment decisions.
• Establish governance processes, planning cycles, and board reporting mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain acquisition pipelines; lead evaluation, due diligence, and integration.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, technology, actuarial, and leaders across transaction lifecycles.
• Set the direction for brand, marketing strategy, communications, and community relations.
• Oversee the Transformation Office to align initiatives with priorities and ensure measurable outcomes.
