Job summary

Chicago Stars FC is seeking a Vice President, Venue Operations to lead the Event & Facility Operations Department. The role oversees matches, events, and both internal and external facilities, ensuring compliance with league and safety standards and managing logistics and vendor relations.

The VP will drive operational efficiency, optimize budgets, and develop tools for the end-to-end event lifecycle while mentoring a team of managers and coordinators.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in large venue event management and supervision.
• Experience with fire and life-safety compliance and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Chicago Stars FC matches, events, and external facilities logistics.
• Develop standardized tools, processes, and budgets for events and operations.
• Lead staffing, training, and performance across the department.
• Manage vendor, venue, and facility contracts and relationships.
• Drive guest experience improvements, safety, security, and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee emergency response and crisis management planning.
