Job summary

Ledgebrook, a fully remote specialty pricing platform, seeks an AVP/VP, Specialty Pricing to shape pricing across Professional, Cyber, and Excess Liability. This high-impact role involves building pricing infrastructure, influencing underwriting strategy, and developing predictive models in a fast-scaling environment.

You will collaborate with underwriting, product, data, and leadership teams, mentor actuaries and data scientists, and help expand pricing capabilities into new specialty products

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial pricing or insurance modeling experience within P&C or reinsurance.
• Professional Liability, Cyber, Excess Liability, or E&S experience valued.
• Strong technical capability across Excel, SQL, and analytical modeling.
• Ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to underwriting and stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in a fast-moving environment.
• Collaborative in high-talent-density teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance predictive pricing models using actuarial and machine learning techniques.
• Partner with underwriting teams to drive data-informed decisions.
• Work with AI/ML and data engineering to develop scalable pricing capabilities.
• Own technical pricing initiatives across specialty casualty and professional lines.
• Develop analytical tools, reporting, and portfolio insights.
• Help shape pricing strategy as the platform expands into new specialty products.
• Mentor and collaborate with other actuaries and data scientists.
