Job summary

Aviva U.S. seeks a VP Pricing Actuary to lead pricing strategy, model governance, and portfolio optimization across multiple U.S. specialty lines. You will shape underwriting and business strategy with actuarial insights and partner with UK colleagues to meet global standards.

The role requires FCAS, 10–15+ years of actuarial leadership, and a track record in pricing model development and profitability management. The position offers a hybrid work model and a generous rewards package.

Qualifications

• FCAS designation required and senior actuarial leadership experience.
• Significant pricing model development and portfolio management expertise.
• Experience partnering with underwriting, product, claims and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy and pricing model governance for U.S. Specialty lines.
• Develop rate indications, segmentation analyses, and profitability analyses.
• Oversee portfolio management, loss ratios, and growth opportunities.
• Provide matrix leadership across U.S. and UK priorities.
• Drive analytics, model validation, and actuarial modernization initiatives.
• Communicate insights to senior leadership and influence decision making.
