Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a visionary VP of Software Engineering and Development to lead engineering, QA, DevOps, and data architecture across the business line. You will partner with product and business leaders to deliver secure, scalable software and to operationalize AI with governance and platform capabilities that drive measurable outcomes.

You will champion lean practices, automation, and data‑driven metrics while guiding DevEx and agile execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with leadership of multi‑team orgs.
• Proven success leading distributed teams at scale.
• Expertise in agile delivery, engineering metrics, continuous improvement.
• Hands‑on understanding of CI/CD, test automation, IaC, and QA practices.
• Experience operationalizing AI and data‑driven engineering in production.
• Familiarity with SRE and FinOps practices.
• Experience leading platform upgrade or migration initiatives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder mgmt, and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in modern frameworks and at least one major language such as C# or Java.
