Job summary
Verra Mobility seeks a visionary Vice President of Software Delivery to lead enterprise software delivery, platform modernization, and governance across the business unit. This executive will align AI initiatives with technology execution, scaling reliable, secure software delivery while reducing duplication and accelerating velocity.
The role requires deep experience in leading multiple software teams, establishing standards for CI/CD, testing, and security, and driving measurable improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years software engineering leadership experience, including 7+ years leading multiple teams.
- Experience leading platform transformation, modernization, and governance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on enterprise vision and strategy for Software Delivery.
- Own delivery KPIs for predictability, quality, and production health.
- Lead platform consolidation and modernization into reusable services and APIs.
- Establish engineering standards for CI/CD, reviews, testing, security, and observability.
- Drive improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, and defect rates.
- Oversee AI-enabled engineering capabilities and governance across products.
- Build and coach high-performing delivery leadership teams.
