Job summary

Edelman Smithfield is seeking a Vice President, Client Service to lead a social-first, entertainment-tech client team in New York. You will craft social strategies, oversee influencer programs, and coordinate resources across creative, production, media, technology, and experiential disciplines.

You will partner with senior executives to shape ideas, sell solutions, and drive revenue while mentoring junior staff and guiding cross-functional teams to execute complex campaigns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in digital marketing and communications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day contact for senior-level social clients and develop deep relationships.
• Lead multiple workstreams from strategy through execution; manage teams.
• Liaise with internal teams and external agency partners; communicate cross-discipline deliverables.
• Spot opportunities for growth to drive additional revenue.
• Stay current on the latest social technology, functionality, and influencer integrations.
• Mentor and escalation point for junior staff and trusted advisor for senior staff.
