Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Vice President, Client Service to lead our Digital team in New York, shaping social strategies and experiences by integrating data, technology, and influencer programs. You will engage senior executives to turn ideas into actionable campaigns, coordinating creative, production, media, technology, and experiential groups.

You’ll champion social strategy, mentor junior staff, and drive revenue growth while aligning with client business goals and evolving media ecosystems.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and communications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experienced digital client service lead for a global brand.
• Agency experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing social strategies and programs with tangible results.
• Experience working with paid media, analytics, planning, technology, editorial and creative teams to build effective strategies and experiences.
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting across earned, owned, and paid platforms.
• Ability to lead a team and inspire junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day contact for senior-level social clients and develop deep relationships, providing strategic solutions on everything digital – including social and influencer
• Exhibit solid understanding of client information including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, customers, competitors
• Lead multiple workstreams from strategy through execution; manage teams
• Liaise with internal teams and external agency partners; communicate cross-discipline deliverables
• Spot opportunities for growth to drive additional revenue
• Stay current on social technology, influencer integrations to serve as a go-to resource
• Serve as a mentor and escalation point for junior staff
• Show understanding of large integrated campaigns including advertising, paid media, social, and advocacy
• Display knowledge of marketing mix and channels’ role in campaign success
