VP Credit Analyst – Renewables & Energy

Our client, a leading Project Finance bank, is seeking a VP Credit Analyst to join its growing New York team focused on the Renewables & Energy sector.

Role Overview

Work closely with the Project Finance team on credit risk management, structuring, due diligence, and risk analysis for both new transactions and ongoing portfolio monitoring within the Renewables & Energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Monitor existing portfolio deals, preparing comprehensive credit reports for new loan facilities and managing renewals and amendments for existing transactions.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of project finance loan portfolio reports to monitor performance, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Oversee and review the work of junior team members to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Senior Associate or VP-level professional with strong understanding of the Project Finance market, deal structures, and industry trends.
• Proven experience in credit analysis and/or portfolio management within project finance, structured finance, or related sectors.
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and effective in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple internal stakeholders and departments.
