Position Summary
Rimini Street seeks a senior Sales Leader with a proven record of $40M–$50M revenue across all verticals and extensive experience in Level 2 Management (manager of managers). The VP, Sales will oversee several sales team leaders, responsible for meeting aggressive sales targets in the NAMER region. This role reports directly to the Theater General Manager and collaborates with Sales Operations, Field Marketing, Pre-Sales, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building new markets, leading a US-based team for high-growth software or related services companies with at least $250 million in annual revenue. They should be charismatic, entrepreneurial, experienced in hunting and opening new accounts, and possess strong connections within the SAP and Oracle ecosystems in North America.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grow, lead, and manage sales teams
  • Exceed quarterly quota targets
  • Collaborate on sales strategy and growth objectives
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff
  • Represent Rimini Street at regional CIO and analyst conferences
  • Guide prospects through Solution Selling approaches
  • Provide weekly sales forecasts to the Theater GM
  • Maintain updated sales activities in Salesforce.com and Clari

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • Travel as needed (minimum 30%) for sales opportunities
  • Reinforce Rimini Street’s culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Location

  • Remote – US, Central time zone

Experience

  • 15+ years in enterprise software and services sales, with experience in new market development
  • 7+ years in a VP sales role with proven results, ideally in high-growth software companies
  • Experience in team selling, cold-calling, and lead prospecting
  • Management experience overseeing quota-bearing sales teams across multiple states

Skills

  • Strong sales management fundamentals, including solution and team selling, Salesforce.com, and motivation techniques
  • Leadership by example
  • Forecasting and territory management skills
