Job Title: VP - Sales

The VP - Sales handles direct sales responsibilities for national accounts. This role also assists with managing sales staff and customer service, as well as directing activity to ensure client satisfaction and profitability for the business.

This is a remote position; candidates must reside in Georgia.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define sales force structure, oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs to motivate achievement of sales targets.
  • Assist sales staff with proposals and presentations for new business.
  • Support sales and customer service staff to ensure client satisfaction and business profitability.
  • Assist in sales and business planning, providing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Develop strategies to develop business and meet sales goals; implement sales policies and practices.
  • Coordinate communications, support sales and customer service objectives, and meet organizational expenditure requirements.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to achieve goals; mentor and develop team members.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, sales and marketing, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales and customer service experience.
  • 8+ years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to travel locally, nationally, and internationally as needed.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments under deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and reporting.
Physical Aspects / Work Environment
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and see.
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds.
