Job summary

Unio Health Partners (UHP) seeks a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management to lead the organization’s RCM function across multiple specialties. You will drive strategy, optimize billing and collections, and partner with clinical, IT and finance leaders to improve DSO and denial rates.

You will oversee teams in billing, coding, denials, and analytics, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while leveraging Athena One to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required.
• 5–8 years of progressive leadership in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Experience across multiple specialties including ancillary services.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and payer requirements.
• Leadership skills in billing, collections, denial management and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of revenue cycle strategies aligned with financial goals.
• Oversee billing, coding, claims submission, denial management and collections.
• Leverage Athena One EMR/PM for reporting and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and payer requirements.
• Monitor KPIs like DSO, denial rates and cash collection performance.
• Lead teams across billing, coding, cash applications, and denials.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT and finance for alignment and improvements.
• Enhance patient financial experience through clear communication.
