Unio Health Partners is seeking a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management to lead and optimize all revenue cycle functions across our California network. This role focuses on strategic oversight of billing, coding, claims submissions, denial management, and collections, with responsibility for P&L accountability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Experience overseeing revenue cycle functions across multiple specialties, including ancillary services.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer-specific requirements.
• Proven leadership and strategic management skills in Revenue Cycle Management with a focus on billing, collections, and denial management.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive revenue cycle strategies aligned with financial goals and clinical objectives.
• Process Optimization: Improve billing, coding, claims submission, denial management, and collections to enhance efficiency.
• Technology Utilization: Oversee Athena One EMR and PM system usage to optimize processes and reporting.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulations and implement robust compliance programs.
• Financial Reporting: Provide regular analyses on DSO, denial rates, and collection efficiency.
• Staff Productivity Management: Set targets and monitor productivity across roles.
• Team Leadership: Mentor teams responsible for billing, collections, coding, denial management, and DSO improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Align with clinical leadership, IT, and finance on revenue cycle initiatives.
• Patient Financial Experience: Improve billing transparency and responsive customer service.
• Ancillary Services Integration: Integrate revenue cycle for labs, pharmacy, radiation therapy, and trials.
