Job summary

talisman seeks a Vice President of Project Finance to lead financing of utility-scale renewable energy projects from outreach to financial close. This senior, hands-on leader will own the full financing lifecycle, negotiate with capital providers, and drive multiple transactions to completion.

A background in project finance lending/banking is advantageous, with a focus on practical deal execution. The base salary is approximately $250,000 with a target annual bonus of 25%.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of relevant experience in renewable energy project finance or infrastructure finance.
• Experience leading complex transactions through financial close.
• Meaningful experience with tax equity and/or project debt in the U.S. market.
• Strong negotiation, financial analysis and transaction-management capabilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the full transaction lifecycle from financing strategy through closing.
• Lead tax equity, debt and other project-capital transactions across a multi-year pipeline.
• Make commercial decisions on financing structure, risk, and execution strategy.
• Serve as internal deal leader with accountability for schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate with development, legal, tax, accounting, engineering and construction teams.
• Identify obstacles early and develop pragmatic solutions to keep deals moving.
• Oversee modeling, diligence, and documentation; manage advisors.
