Position Summary

The Vice President of Project Finance will lead financing activities for a portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects. This individual will oversee project financings from origination through closing, manage relationships with capital providers, and provide leadership throughout the transaction execution process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financing strategies for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Structure and close debt, tax equity, preferred equity, and other project financing transactions from initial structuring through diligence, documentation, negotiation, and financial close.
• Build and maintain relationships with lenders, institutional investors, infrastructure funds, tax equity providers, and financial advisors.
• Negotiate financing terms and capital structures to support company objectives while optimizing cost of capital.
• Oversee financial modeling, including cash flow forecasts, sensitivity analyses, scenario modeling, and investment return evaluations.
• Analyze project economics and financing structures to maximize risk-adjusted returns while supporting project bankability.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including development, legal, accounting, tax, and corporate finance, to ensure successful transaction execution.
