You will partner with risk and compliance teams across the Americas to govern change processes, drive accountability, and deliver insights to senior leadership. This role involves leading governance activity in the US and Canada, leveraging technology to improve processes, and shaping how regulatory obligations

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Risk Management and Compliance, Legal, or similar regulatory-facing roles within financial services.
• Demonstrated experience leading regulatory change management and governance independently.
• Familiarity with compliance and operational risk frameworks.
• Strong organizational skills with proactive issue identification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capable of influencing senior executives.
• Experience in data storytelling to communicate risk and change narratives.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of Risk Management and Compliance groups across Latin America, the United States, and Canada in all legal obligation assessment and regulatory change management activity through tracking of KPIs.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of future-state operational processes, leveraging technology and innovation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support adoption of best practice across the region.
• Analyze performance and risk metrics and facilitate root cause analysis to inform senior management.
• Deputize for the Global Governance Lead on US time-zone aligned topics.
• Support region-specific firmwide regulatory exam submissions relating to the risk management approach.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations for senior leadership and committee meetings.
• Represent the governance team lead at firmwide meetings time-zone specific.
• Provide thought leadership to drive key discussions and resolve complex issues across departments.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning within the team.
