Job summary

Atlas Search, a rapidly growing real estate asset manager, seeks a Vice President of Real Estate Reporting in New York City to lead the accounting and financial reporting function, oversee fund accounting, controls, automation, and investor reporting across diverse property types.

This newly created role supports the CFO and offers a path to drive growth, acquisitions, and system modernization in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• CPA required; Big 4 experience highly preferred.
• MBA/MS preferred.
• 8–15 years of progressive accounting experience in real estate portfolios and funds.
• GAAP knowledge, fund and partnership accounting, consolidations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements and investor deliverables.
• Oversee accounting for multiple real estate investments with complex structures.
• Manage internal controls, processes, and new systems/automation.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, and analysis of business combinations.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors; supervise audits.
