Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a Vice President of Real Estate Development Closings in New Albany, OH. You will lead the Closing and Real Estate Transactions team, guiding acquisitions, dispositions, and financing structures while ensuring governance and risk controls across the lifecycle.

You’ll work with senior leadership and external partners to optimize transaction outcomes, implement corporate governance standards, and support growth within Wallick’s affordable housing and senior living

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and minimum 10 years in Real Estate closings and preparation.
• J.D. degree is highly preferred for legal oversight of transactions.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and complex contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and ownership restructurings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and related contracts.
• Advise on legal risks, business terms, and transaction structures.
• Coordinate due diligence including title review, surveys, and environmental matters.
• Collaborate with external counsel and lenders through the transaction lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor the Real Estate Transactions team and govern entity management.
