Job summary

Wallick Communities in New Albany, OH, seeks a Vice President of Real Estate Transactions and Governance to lead the Closing and Real Estate Transactions team. You will guide acquisitions, dispositions, financing structures, and governance to mitigate risk while advancing strategic goals.

You will oversee due diligence, drafting and negotiating complex agreements, and coordinating with lenders, partners, and counsel. This role requires a JD and senior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school preferred.
• Experience in real estate closings, acquisitions, dispositions, and complex contracts.
• Strong knowledge of residential real estate transactions and ownership structures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and ownership restructurings.
• Review and negotiate purchase/ sale agreements, loan documents, and related docs.
• Advise on legal risks, business terms, and transaction structure.
• Coordinate due diligence and closing activities with internal and external partners.
• Lead governance of entities and contract administration across the team.
