Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in real estate acquisitions or related investment roles.
• Strong underwriting and financial modeling experience.
• Proven track record evaluating and closing real estate transactions.
• Solid understanding of cash flows, valuation and investment returns.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple live opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and financial analysis of prospective real estate acquisitions.
• Build and review detailed acquisition models, including cash flow projections and returns.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, markets, properties and business plans.
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate with brokers, lenders, operating partners and others.
• Prepare investment committee materials and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support negotiation and execution of purchase agreements and transaction documents.
• Identify and evaluate new acquisition opportunities and maintain relationships with brokers.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify attractive themes.
• Manage multiple transactions through the acquisition process from evaluation to closing.
• Work closely with senior investment team on sourcing and executing new investments.
