Working with a growing residential home building and land development platform in Dallas, Texas, seeking an Associate to join their expanding team.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in residential home building, land development, or real estate investment.
- Experience with land acquisitions, homebuilding operations, and/or construction-focused real estate platforms.
- Exposure to refinancing or capital structuring related to homebuilding projects is a plus.
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing an MBA is acceptable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and underwriting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across development, acquisition, and financing activities.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Dallas, Texas area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support land acquisition efforts, including site evaluation, underwriting, due diligence, and deal execution.
- Assist in managing residential homebuilding projects from land development through construction and stabilization.
- Analyze refinancing opportunities and support execution of debt and capital market transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, developers, builders, and external consultants on active projects.
- Prepare financial models, investment memoranda, and return analyses for new and existing projects.
- Track project budgets, schedules, and development milestones.
- Monitor market conditions and identify new land and homebuilding opportunities.
- Support asset‑level and portfolio‑level performance analysis.
- Assist senior team members with strategic initiatives and long‑term growth planning.
