Job summary

Blue Owl is seeking a strategic accounting Vice President to lead financial reporting for its Real Estate platform. Based in Chicago, you will oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, prepare NAV calculations, and coordinate SEC disclosures with audit and tax teams.

You will work with CFO/CAO, manage external partners, strengthen internal controls, and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency. A CPA is preferred; a Bachelor's is required; salary ranges from $150k to $175k plus

Qualifications

• 7+ years of real estate accounting experience.
• Strong SEC reporting experience including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K.
• Ability to understand leases, debt agreements, and private placement memorandums.
• Must be deadline focused, organized, and possess problem-solving skills.
• CPA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial data reporting for month-, quarter-, and year-end.
• Prepare monthly NAV and price per share per PPM documents.
• Serve as SME for GAAP historical cost and fair value reporting.
• Coordinate with CFO/CAO and audit team on disclosures.
• Oversee third parties and ensure deadlines are met.
• Implement effective internal controls and improve accounting processes.
