Job summary

Blue Owl Capital is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support SEC reporting for non-traded REITs, collaborating with accounting teams, fund administrators, and property managers to ensure timely and accurate documentation for 10-Q/10-K filings.

The role covers consolidation analyses, memo research, NAV close support, and filing duties. A CPA is preferred; base salary aligns with Chicago market ranges and includes a discretionary bonus program.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to real estate/private equity or REITs preferred.
• SEC reporting experience including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other filings.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with focus on real estate accounting.
• Experience with SEC reporting software such as Workiva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consolidated financial statements, footnotes and MD&A for 10-K/10-Q using Workiva.
• Prepare supporting documentation and tie-outs for reporting periods.
• Review financial statement support from fund administrator and property manager.
• Support external auditors and manage internal reporting materials.
• Assist with 8-K/Section 16 filings and research accounting implications.
