RockBridge Search & Recruitment in Houston seeks a Vice President in Government Banking focused on Municipal & Public Finance to lead relationships with municipalities, school districts, utilities and transportation authorities across Texas. You will design and structure financing solutions, and guide complex deals from inception through closing.

This role demands deep public sector credit knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate civic needs into bankable

Formación

Experience in public finance, government banking, or municipal credit markets.
Comfort with structured debt, capital markets products, or relationship-driven lending.
Ability to read financial statements and the room during public-sector conversations.
A steady hand when timelines stretch, stakeholders multiply, and complexity compounds.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA is often welcomed like an old friend.

Responsabilidades

Build and deepen relationships with municipalities, school districts, utilities, transportation authorities and other public sector entities across Texas and beyond.
Structure and support financing solutions including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, tax-backed financing programs, PPPs, and treasury/cash management for governments.
Serve as the internal translator between public clients and bank teams—credit, underwriting, capital markets, legal, and risk.
Map multi-year financing strategies and advise on capital improvement funding options for public sectors.
Ensure funding structures are clear, credible, and navigable for public-sector stakeholders.
