Job summary

Citi is seeking an Engineering Lead for its Network Infrastructure Team in Irving, TX. You will lead a cloud networking group focused on designing, certifying, deploying, and securing network resources in AWS and GCP, with a hands-on approach to IaC and automation.

You will shape strategy, drive platform modernization, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud infrastructure supporting Citi’s digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of progressive technical leadership with cloud engineering focus.
• Proven experience leading an engineering team in a large corporate environment.
• Expert understanding of public cloud network infrastructure in AWS and GCP.
• Expert understanding of cloud security practices and compliance in AWS and GCP.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, with emphasis on AWS EKS and GCP GKE configurations.
• Experience with IaC pipelines, Terraform, Python and Go.

Responsibilities

• Define a multi-year roadmap for the network engineering team aligned with enterprise tech strategy.
• Develop engineers’ technical and soft skills and career plans.
• Architect and maintain scalable, reliable system designs for cloud networks.
• Monitor performance and optimize resource usage across platforms.
• Enforce engineering best practices, CI/CD, automation, and auditability.
