Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas is seeking an Engineering Lead Analyst to guide the design, acquisition, and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure within the Technology team. The role emphasizes delivering secure, scalable software and infrastructure with a focus on quality and operational excellence.

You will lead engineering activities across cloud platforms (OSE, AWS, GCP), drive compliance initiatives, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role or senior level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role with subject matter expert in one or more areas.
• Exhibit expertise in all aspects of technology by understanding broader patterns and techniques as they apply to Citi’s internal and external cloud platforms (OSE, AWS, GCP etc.)
• Lead resources and serve as a functional SME across the company through advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking.
• Acquire relevant technology and financial industry skills and understand NGA technology – including innovative approaches and new opportunities.
• Demonstrate knowledge on automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap
• Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals
• Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements
• Recommend product customization for system integration
• Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
• Design, implement, and deploy software components and solve difficult problems generating positive feedback
• Have a solid understanding of development approaches
• Able to work independently and with your team to deliver software successfully
• Deliver work that is consistently of a high quality and maintainable
• Code reviews tend to be rapid and productive
• Focus on operational excellence and propose improvements to development/testing processes
• Train new team-mates about customers, software, testing, operations and context
• Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with laws and regulations
