Job summary

talisman is seeking a Vice President of Project Finance to lead the financing of utility-scale renewable energy projects from initial outreach through financial close. You will own the full financing lifecycle, lead negotiations with capital providers, and drive multiple complex transactions to completion.

This senior, hands-on role reports to the Chief Investment Officer and will manage an Associate. A background in renewable energy development helps, with project finance lending/banking as a

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of renewables project finance experience.
• Experience leading complex transactions through financial close.
• Experience with tax equity and/or project debt in the U.S. market.
• Strong negotiation and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without relying solely on authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the full transaction lifecycle from strategy to close.
• Lead tax equity, debt, and other capital transactions across a multi-year pipeline.
• Make financing structure and risk/return decisions.
• Coordinate with development, legal, tax, accounting, engineering and construction teams.
• Manage external counsel and advisors and oversee documentation.
• Coach and develop an Associate on the team.
• Drive development of processes and team structure.
