Giga Energy Inc. seeks a VP of Project Development to own site delivery from selection to shovel-ready status. You will coordinate entitlements, permitting, and utility planning with agencies and teams to accelerate multi-site development in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes building relationships with government and utilities, managing schedules, and compressing timelines through parallel workstreams while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years delivering complex, multi-agency development or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing entitlements, permitting, and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Entitlements & Permitting: build agency relationships and drive approvals.
• Utility & Infrastructure Coordination: negotiate with power, water, and telecom providers.
• Environmental & Due Diligence: manage Phase I/II assessments and site constraints.
• Stakeholder & Community Engagement: represent the company at hearings and meetings.
• Process & Schedule Management: maintain detailed development schedules and critical path.
