Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to lead the roadmap for medium-voltage UPS systems powering data centers. This leader defines product direction, translates market needs into actionable requirements, and builds the business case and prioritization framework for future releases.

Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, you will balance customer value, competitive differentiation, and regulatory requirements while building and guiding a small PM team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years in leadership with people management.
• Experience leading multi-product roadmaps for complex hardware/infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data center buyers and critical power needs.
• Experience bringing technical products to market: requirements, pricing, launch planning.
• Familiarity with power electronics, energy storage, and utility interconnection considerations.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap with clear milestones and business cases.
• Translate market needs into requirements and GTM inputs (pricing, certifications, timing).
• Collaborate with R&D/Engineering on technical direction and feasibility.
• Lead a small PM team and establish scalable PM processes.
• Represent product strategy with customers and at industry events.
