Job summary

Archer in New York is seeking a Vice President, Product Designer to join our AI Hub team and lead end-to-end experiences on complex enterprise workflows. This role sits at the intersection of design, product, and engineering, shaping how AI-driven insights translate into usable experiences in a fast-moving environment.

You will mentor, contribute to a machine-readable design system, and leverage AI-assisted tooling to move from research to working prototypes, while collaborating with product

Qualifications

• Strong product design fundamentals: research synthesis, interaction design, systems thinking, visual craft.
• Experience designing complex systems: enterprise software, multi-step workflows, data-heavy interfaces.
• Ability to communicate design rationale to mixed audiences under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Make complexity clear by designing experiences for multi-step workflows and cross-platform journeys.
• Drive concept development from day one using research and outcomes to prototyped form with AI-assisted tools.
• Own the design of end-to-end experiences across users, teams, and systems.
• Contribute to a design system built for current design workflows; tokens, patterns, and AI integration.
• Communicate design as a point of view, explaining tradeoffs to product and engineering teams.
• Mentor through example; raise the standard of work through critique and collaboration.
