Job summary

Archer in collaboration with JPMorgan Chase seeks a Vice President Experience Design to drive end-to-end UX across Business Banking Insurance products. You will own research activities, translate insights into strategy, mentor designers, and lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver inclusive, accessible, and user-centered experiences.

You will champion experience strategy, work with product and technology teams, and guide prioritization and roadmap decisions based on data and user needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, service design, or related roles.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute UX research and connect findings to design decisions.
• Strong portfolio showing journey thinking and interaction/UI craft.
• Proven ability to create customer-centered experience strategies and north star visions.
• Experience in fast-paced, iterative environments with stakeholder collaboration.
• Knowledge of inclusive design and WCAG-informed practices; embedding accessibility into design systems.
• Advanced technical literacy and collaboration with engineering (front-end constraints, APIs/microservices).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end experiences by diagramming service flows, producing wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototyping journeys.
• Lead research-driven design strategy across multiple product areas and align outcomes with business goals.
• Plan and conduct UX research (discovery, usability tests, diary studies) from design through storytelling.
• Translate insights into personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and north star visions.
• Drive iterative validation with analytics and product to define hypotheses and learnings.
• Champion inclusive design and accessibility across workflows and reviews.
• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate design and research into product development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to craft standards and ways of working.
• Leverage AI responsibly in the PDLC to speed exploration while maintaining governance.
