Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Columbus, OH, seeks a Product Control Strategy Vice President to build and scale CCM and controls across Business Banking products.

The role focuses on shifting to in-system preventative controls, code reviews, and automated health checks to increase speed-to-signal while maintaining strong governance. The leader will partner with Product Owners, Technology, and second-line stakeholders, driving improvements in control effectiveness and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology risk & controls, operational risk, product controls, or related fields.
• Experience spanning technology delivery and controls/risk with strong influencing skills.
• Experience designing or overseeing CCM capabilities and automated testing.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Control Managers in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to translate monitoring outputs into actionable narratives and governance outcomes.
• Experience reviewing AI-assisted summaries for auditability and regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a repeatable technology controls framework with objectives and governance.
• Develop real-time visibility into control performance and risk trends via automated monitoring.
• Stand up production health checks to reduce regression testing and validate key rules.
• Identify opportunities to automate control testing and strengthen detection using data and telemetry.
• Partner with Product and Technology to embed controls-by-design in new launches.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities with guardrails for executive-ready reporting.
