• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of financial services experience in risk management, control, audit, or compliance.
• Knowledge of operational risk concepts, governance, and monitoring practices.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive risk-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of payment operations and modernization initiatives to manage operational risk.
• Support a proactive risk and control culture across payment products and tech transformations.
• Collaborate with business, product, operations, technology, risk, legal and compliance stakeholders to document risks, controls and governance needs.
• Enhance risk management frameworks, control inventories, process maps, monitoring routines, and governance practices.
• Define KPIs/KRIs and governance routines; analyze data to support risk decisions.
• Provide leadership for end-to-end operational risk management, including remediation planning and closure.
• Maintain project plans, action logs, and risk/issue trackers; coordinate dependencies and deliverables.
• Produce stakeholder-ready outputs and executive-level presentations summarizing options and risks.
• Lead regulatory, audit, and compliance engagements and control environment assessments.
